TSE Privacy Notice

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, this notice provides information about the measures TSE takes to ensure that your personal data is respected.

What type of information we collect

TSE only collects data that is strictly necessary for the purpose for which it is processed, in accordance with the principle of data minimisation. We currently collect and process the following information you provide when you contact us or apply for a job at TSE:

  • Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (name, telephone number, administrative region, email address, etc.)
  • Messages
  • Documents (CV, cover letter, etc.)

How we get the information and why we do we have it

The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you when using our website, contacting us or applying for a job at TSE. Your information is collected based on our legitimate interest – we need the information you provide us to process and reply to your requests. Some information, marked with an asterisk, is required.

What we do with the information

Your information is collected for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes and will not be further processed for any other purpose. We use the information that you have given us in order to:

  • Process your TSE job application
  • Reply to your requests or queries via the website contact form
  • Follow up your application or information request
TSE does not use your personal information for automated decision making or profiling purposes. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act (Informatique et libertés), TSE transmits the required information about each type of data processed to you clearly and transparently, each time your personal data is collected.

Who has access to your information

Only authorised TSE employees have access to your information.

How we store your information

Your information is securely stored on a server and kept for the period needed for processing purposes. The length of the period depends on the purposes for which the data is used and on current legislation. Site access logs are recorded in log files. Once your data has been processed, the TSE site administrator manually deletes the data which can be kept for a maximum of 2 years. The server access logs are automatically deleted after 60 days.

Security of your data

TSE ensures the security of your data by implementing appropriate technical and organisational measures.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, your data protection rights include: Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete. Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances. Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances. Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances. Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances. If you have any concerns about our use of your personal information, you can contact us at rgpd@tse.energy. You can also register a complaint with the French Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), the supervisory authority in charge of compliance with obligations in terms of personal data protection in France.

Modification of the Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice may be modified at any time in accordance with changes in laws, regulations, jurisprudence and doctrine. We will inform you of such changes with a banner on the website.
