Noriap - TSE partnership: A first contract for a crop shade signed by a farmer in Hauts-de-France
The first concrete implementation between Noriap and TSE, a contract has just been signed for the installation of a cultural shade on a farm located in the Somme. For farmers, this installation will make it possible to meet the challenges of climate change through the production of green electricity and to generate additional income.
Noriap and TSE are pleased to announce the signing of the first contract resulting from their partnership established last April. This project involves the installation of a crop shade equipped with rotating shading (trackers) with a power of 8.19 Mwc, on a farm in Somme (Hauts-de-France).
The beneficiary farmer, committed to a process of adaptation and innovation, sees this project as an opportunity to develop his profession. Thanks to this installation equipped with intelligent management that adapts to the needs of crops, he will be able to better meet the current challenges of the agricultural sector by adapting his plot to the effects of climate change, while producing green electricity for his territory and benefiting from additional income.
Responding to the challenges of global warming
Noriap and TSE are committed to strengthening their ties with this partnership to support the development of agrivoltaic projects on the cooperative's territory. The objective is to support farmers in their agro-climatic transition process: promote the installation of agrivoltaic shade houses among members of the cooperative, thus offering sustainable and innovative solutions to farmers in the region.
“We are delighted with this signing for a cultural shade project, says Timothée Maman, energy animator at Noriap. The teams are proud to work on new territorial projects, which contribute to securing the income of members, and which respond to the major challenges of the future in the face of global warming. We are always available to study each case individually and offer the most appropriate solutions. This is an excellent start for our partnership with TSE, thanks to the joint work of members and field teams.”
“We warmly congratulate the Noriap and TSE teams for their commitment and exceptional work in implementing this first signature,” adds Rayan Balhawan, North Regional Director at TSE. We are honored to collaborate with the Noriap Group on this ambitious crop shade project. Agrivoltaics is an innovative solution that makes it possible to combine agricultural production and renewable energy production, thus responding to the challenges of climate change and securing agricultural incomes. TSE is committed to providing technical expertise and personalized support for each project, in order to maximize the benefits for farmers. This partnership with Noriap is a decisive step towards more resilient and sustainable agriculture. Together, we are building a greener and more prosperous future.”
