TSE and Albéa sign a 12MWp carbon-free electricity supply contract (CPPA)

TSE and Albéa, a multinational group based in 14 countries and a world leader in cosmetic packaging employing 12,000 people, announce the signing of a Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) for 12 MWp of solar energy over a period of 15 years.

This contract concerns the purchase of electricity that will be produced by a “greenfield” photovoltaic park located in eastern France, and whose commissioning is scheduled for June 2026.

This CPPA is part of TSE's offer for companies that want to decarbonize their activities over the long term.

Through this first CPPA contracted with TSE, Albéa will thus secure more than 20% of its renewable electricity supply for all its French production sites, and, faithful to its CSR roadmap, is accelerating its transition to solutions with a lower environmental impact.

We are very happy to announce the signing of this new CPPA with Albéa, a company recognized for its commitment to sustainable development. We will provide them with solar-source electricity allowing them to secure their carbon-free energy supply at a stable and competitive price. For us, this operation is different from the previous ones because this time it is a CPPA with a medium-sized company, whose long-term vision should be commended. We thank Albéa for her trust and are very proud of this new signature. ” indicated Mathieu Debonnet, president of TSE.

“This partnership with TSE is an important step in our decarbonization journey and is in line with our green energy policy.”, declares François Tassart, CEO of the Albéa group.

Barbara de Saint-Aubin, CEO Albéa Tubes appends : “Our efforts to optimize our energy consumption and in particular electricity consumption have already borne fruit at many of the group's sites. This new project will allow us to further accelerate our ecological transition on our French sites.”
