TSE at the Salon of Mayors and Local Authorities

France's energy transition is at a strategic turning point. As the demand for electricity increases, the need for clean, affordable energy is becoming paramount. TSE, leader in agrivoltaics in France, is emerging as a key player in this energy revolution. France is aiming for carbon neutrality by 2050, requiring a 42.5% increase in clean energies by 2030. Electrification, especially of vehicles, will increase electricity demand. TSE offers a concrete solution to meet these challenges by investing heavily in renewable energies.

Agrivoltaics, a winning synergy

TSE offers agrivoltaic solutions innovations that integrate photovoltaic production with a agricultural production in synergy. Agrivoltaic shades protect crops while producing green energy, thus promoting sustainable agriculture and the preservation of water resources. TSE has made significant progress with projects such as the Amance agricultural canopy in Haute-Saône, the transformation of Fonderies du Poitou into a green energy hub and the innovative agrivoltaic canopy in Brouchy (Somme). These projects demonstrate the positive impact of agrivoltaics on territories and the energy transition.

TSE, a pioneer in agrivoltaics in France

TSE, independent producer ofsolar energy since 2016, has distinguished itself by its ambitious and responsible vision. With a fleet of 18 solar power plants and a capacity of 210MW, TSE supplies the equivalent of 110,000 inhabitants with electricity. In addition, the inauguration of the Marville photovoltaic power plant (150MW) in 2021 and the first agricultural canopy in Amance in 2022 demonstrate TSE's commitment to innovation and sustainable development.

  • How does agrivoltaics contribute to the sustainability of farms and the maintenance of biodiversity?
  • How can TSE agrivoltaics projects contribute to the energy transition and sustainable development goals set by municipalities and local authorities?
  • What partnership mechanisms does TSE set up with local authorities to ensure the success and sustainability of its agrivoltaics projects?

TSE will be present at the Mayors Fair, from November 21 to 23, 2023, on stand no. 120 in Pavilion 3 — Energy & Climate, offering the unique opportunity to meet experts and learn more about agrivoltaics solutions.
