TSE launches the shading system for ley farming: a reversible agrivoltaic solution, adapted to agricultural rotations integrating temporary grasslands
TSE, a leading player in agrivoltaics in France, reveals its new agrivoltaics innovation: the shading system for ley farming. This innovative system, a first on the French market, complements existing solutions such as shade houses for breeding or cultivation and agricultural canopies.
An adaptable solution
The alternation of agricultural activities naturally encouraged TSE to adapt to the different methods of harvesting and using the plot, between mowing, grazing and harvesting. That is why TSE has designed a flexible solution, allowing farmers to move from one activity to another, whether it is pasture or crops (fodder or cereal).
” Our priority at TSE is to offer reliable and quality solutions that are perfectly adapted to farmers' expectations. By placing them at the heart of our innovation approach, we continue to develop products that meet the concrete needs of the agricultural world. ” emphasized Mathieu Debonnet, president of TSE.
The key points of the shading system for ley farming
- An adapted solution for breeding activities (sheep, cattle, goats) and field crops, ideal for temporary grasslands
- Intelligent control solar panels on trackers to meet the needs of farmers and crops
- Protection against the vagaries of the weather : dynamic panels generate partial and rotating shade that protects meadows, crops and animals
- Animal safety with a minimum height under comfortable panels, adapted to the type of breeding
- Compatibility with agricultural machinery : up to 15 meters of passage
- An additional income over the long term to the operator and owner of the land
