TSE will supply the agricultural cooperative Agrial with carbon-free electricity via a 31MWc CPPA.
TSE, producer and developer of solar energy in France and Agrial, French agricultural and food cooperative, announce the signing of an electricity supply contract, a Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) for 31 MWp of solar energy over a period of 20 years
This contract is based on the purchase of electricity produced by two TSE solar power plants:
- A power plant located in Haute-Marne with a capacity of nearly 25 MWp, to be commissioned at the end of 2024.
- A power plant located in the Channel with a capacity of 6 MWp, scheduled to be commissioned in 2027.
These two power plants will be installed on degraded non-agricultural land. The contract, with a total capacity of around 31 MWp, will allow an annual production of around 36 GWh, equivalent to the consumption of a city of 15,000 inhabitants.
This carbon-free electricity supply is part of the 2035 Agrial Climate Plan, which aims in particular to reduce its greenhouse gas energy emissions by 50%, and will represent between 10 and 15% of the Cooperative's French electricity consumption. In addition to sobriety approaches and structuring investment projects, the supply of green energy, especially French, is one of the pillars of Agrial's climate approach.
” We are very happy to announce the signing of this new CPPA and we thank Agrial for its trust. With this 3rd CPPA signed in a few months, TSE demonstrates its positioning as a key player in solar energy ” explains Mathieu Debonnet, president of TSE.
