TSE signs a partnership with Spanish company Soltec, one of the leaders in the world of solar trackers
TSE, a leading player in Agrivoltaics in France and Soltec, one of the world leaders in the manufacture of solutions for solar trackers, are pleased to announce the signing of a strategic partnership dedicated to the co-development of products on the French market.
Soltec establishes itself in France in partnership with TSE
Building on its expertise in the field of agrivoltaics, TSE has developed a completely innovative solution of agricultural canopy and has designed a specific tracking system for its agrivoltaic awnings, taking into account the constraints and the agricultural needs.
Soltec has developed several algorithms for the global agrivoltaics market and is now forming a partnership with TSE that will focus on co-development exclusively for the French market.
This partnership will allow the two companies to pool their skills and combine innovation and expertise. TSE will contribute its specific knowledge of the French market while Soltec will bring all its know-how, technologies and experiences on a global scale. This includes algorithms allowing TSE to control some of its power plants, based on specific questions of French regulations and requirements in order to further improve agricultural yield. Having European trackers was a requirement for TSE, thus strengthening its position as a responsible player and supporting the French and European energy sovereignty. This choice will allow TSE to stand out even more on the market.
The Spanish manufacturer Soltec, which was not present in France until then, trusts TSE to deploy its agrivoltaics, thanks to TSE's in-depth knowledge of this market.
Mathieu Debonnet, President of TSE, said: “TSE is delighted to have found a partner as experienced and reliable as Soltec. The very high quality of their solar trackers combined with our technology will allow us to develop even more efficient solutions adapted to the specific needs of French agriculture.”
“It is a pleasure for us to collaborate with a company like TSE to continue to develop solar tracker algorithms and advance our innovation in sustainable projects, such as agrivoltaics. We hope it will be one of the many agreements that will help us continue to develop our technology in agrivoltaic systems,” explained Eduardo de San Nicolás, Soltec Strategy and Innovation Director.
A European partnership
In a context where Europe seeks to strengthen its energy autonomy, this new partnership with Soltec, a key player in solar energy, reinforces TSE's strategic approach to engaging with European partners. TSE is a co-signatory of Solar pact, supported by the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industrial Sovereignty, aimed at accelerating the deployment of photovoltaics while promoting production “made in France and made in Europe”. This partnership with Soltec is perfectly in line with this process of relocating the entire solar sector value chain to European soil.
True to its environmental and sovereignty values, TSE continues to position itself ahead of Innovation and in the face of competition, by remaining a reference player in the agrivoltaics sector.
